windows 98 + ie4

So yesterday i had a flashback, came across a live 98 machine running ie4. the display was 600×400 @ 16, didn’t even let you set the refresh rate.

I had to reboot it just to here the old windows start music. i’d forgotten that 98 took about 10 minutes to bout up on a p2 – lol. really took me back.

I remember when i was first starting out, learning computer repair, think it was the windows 3.1 – win 95 days. Or when my mom’s computer finally died after years of me learning and trying everything from repairing, modding, flash, php, stealing lil pimp episodes, etc. lol. it was the about four days after i ordered her a new one from pricewatch, figured it was the least i could do. funny thing is about 30 minutes after her machine died ups showed up with the new one. lol.
